Attempted to take our family of 3 with another family of 3 and we were promptly told at the door they were BUSY and if we didn't have reservations that we should go somewhere else. This was told to us in a rather rude way and there were many tables open. Asked if we could sit in one of the many open tables in the bar and we were told that they didn't know how soon they could get to us...oh well NEVER again. Sorry, I won't spend money at a place like this. If you don't like being in the food business then get out of it!
I don't know, it's an alright place, sorta not worth the wait been here for about 45 mins and finally got my coleslaw... it's during the fish fry and like they've turned away 3 family's of 4plus... and bad service never checked up on us, but food was good,
Excellent menu created by Chef Tyler. Friday fish fry is something you should experience! Staff is courteous and prompt. Sunday... there is always a "home-cooked" meal. ENJOY!!!
An amazing find in lake country. This place was recommended to me by the chef's sister in law almost a year ago and I was finally able to get there myself (thanks Jenn!) but recommended it to others who raved about it. My risotto with smoked salmon was incredible. Definitely a return is in the future. Thanks Sarah and Dan!
The food is impeccable. Swan Lake has needed a restaurant like this. Prices are great when you consider what you'd pay in the twin cities. I've never had a bad meal, breakfast or lunch in two years. The service is improving every time we go. I always bring family when they come to the cabin. You won't find a cheap burger, but you"ll get GOURMET FOOD and appetizer's.
